No points needed, you’ll purchase license and tag over-the-counter upon arrival in Idaho. Located just North of Boise, it’s an easy flight in and out. You’ll need a rental car to get to the house, and there is easy access for all vehicles.

Our Idaho Black Bear hunts start early in the morning, as you head out alongside our exceptional guides and pack of dedicated hounds. These talented dogs can detect bear scent from their truck boxes as we travel logging roads. Once the hounds are released, the excitement immediately unfolds.
In the evening, our hunters transition to our carefully positioned bait stations for a quiet watch. This peaceful woodland sit provides a perfect contrast to the morning’s fast-paced pursuit. The tranquility of Idaho’s bear country evenings is truly magnificent.
Additionally, hunting black bears over bait provides a unique chance to observe these animals up close in ways not otherwise possible. Though different from the active morning hunt on foot, the evening bait hunt delivers its own special brand of adventure. You won’t be disappointed.
